Here's a neat tip to saving money that takes little time and no coupons but will reap you awesome rewards by helping you shop smarter, not harder.

There are times that we need to make a quick run to the drugstore to buy something we are out of or something we forgot to buy earlier in the week. I know, it happens to all of us. But here's a tip: (you will do 2 transactions).

Usually, every week drugstores offer FREE products for store credit. Like at Walgreens, you receive Register Rewards  that are good on your next purchase. 

Say your plan is to buy cold medicine & a box of tissues. Roughly, you will be spending a good $10.  As soon as you walk into the store, pick up the weekly sales ad and purchase the FREE product. (Example: Fiber Smart Clear Fiber 8.6 oz. for $9.99 with $9.99 in RR).

This way, you will get a FREE item and immediately spend that reward on your next transaction, which is the purchase you were going to make anyway. 

There it is. Absolutely no coupons needed!
